Stephanie Najor failed her driving exam 4 times. She ran out of gas on a highway, twice, and once locked her keys in the car while it was running. She got tickets for going too fast, tickets for parking and one day she got a ticket for stopping traffic—not because she was having a good hair day. She’d had enough of The Motor City and The Motor City had enough of her. They parted ways amicably nearly a decade ago. A few cities, several job titles and many modes of transportation later, Stephanie returned to see there’s more to Detroit than motors and there’s nowhere else she’d rather be.
