Eleanor Oakes


Eleanor Oakes is a photographer and visual artist based in Detroit. Her work has been featured in numerous exhibitions and publications, and she is a recipient of the Murphy and Cadogan Contemporary Art Award from the San Francisco Foundation and was an Applebaum Emerging Artist Resident at Ponyride in 2016. She is also the founder of Darkroom Detroit, a non-profit created to increase photography access and education for Detroit residents.
