Dave Krieger, producer, photographer, writer, artist, and location manager has worked in the visual arts for over thirty years in Detroit, Los Angeles, Paris and New York City.
His photography work is in the collection of the Detroit Institute of Arts. Portraits include Andy Warhol, Jim Carrol and Ozzy Osborne among others. He was nominated for a World Press Review award for his Thai Kickboxing story in the New York Times Magazine. His work was included in Detour magazine’s “Best of 25 Years, Anniversary Exhibition, at Bulgari in NYC”.
He has directed and produced music videos by such artists as Dark Red, Thee Kaprianas, Thief, Thornetta Davis and the Blackman and Amy Gore and her Valentines.
He has produced commercial advertising for over 30 years and has produced such films as Cash Only, Don’t Breath, Fractured, and Orion, and location managed dozens of films including, Ides of March, Superman vs Batman, and This Must Be The Place, among many others.
He wrote and photographed the book, “Things I do in Detroit by the Nain Rouge”, a book about Detroit and its wealth of activities. He was the original art director, and photographer for two online magazines about Detroit and its environs, Model D and Metromode.
